purchase what basically is a ‘comrex’ kit. The item has two microphone inputs
and can broadcast from in the middle of a field using the mobile network …
whichever one that may be ?? we have people ringing us regularly from
mobiles and we put them to air. We also have an outside one man broadcast kit
which plugs into a POTS line …………. Plus a commander kit with one end at the
studio and the field kit which is mobile. We can plug five mic’s and headsets
into this ! the trouble is, we need to be near a phone line
! there was a sim card for the device but because we
bought it 8 years ago with a grant (£8,000) it is a mark one model …….. they’re
now on mark 6 and nothing is compatible. We’re still not to sure whether or not
