I agree</SPAN></SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; FONT-SIZE: 10pt"> that a search for 'community radio' wouldn't be very fruitful mind - but I also think it would be a strange search term in the first place. I think it would be much more likely for someone to put in their specific community of interest rather than just 'community' in general. Likewise, you can do a fair bit on the geographical side of things too, from post codes to place names. It will even search presenters/genres/artists/content themes etc that you might make available through on demand audio. <SPAN class=ecxapple-style-span>We've not yet had chance to optimise our search terms but you can put a lot of information in there to target potential listeners.</SPAN></SPAN></P></DIV>

The fee for a CR station is minimal at £90 per year (thanks CMA!) so the costs should not be a problem. It is clear that the RP will develop into the standard interface for accessing radio not just on computers but also phones, television and probably in car radios too.</SPAN></P></DIV>

Put in "Community Radio" and you will get a long list including every BBC local radio station (catch them while they are still around!), R4, Absolute, Heart and all the other wonderful CR stations! As far as I can establish there is no metatag for Community Radio, which is clearly an issue for us. The same sort of problem occurs when you try searching for a location - all national services are, obviously, available everywhere!</SPAN></P></DIV>
