for example we had a local writers / poetry club in here. They use our
facilities. Henshaws, Jobling Gowler etc donate money to us not just for ‘’so
called sponsorship of on-air stuff’’ (which is the argument that they seem to
want to hide behind) but for general community work. The money pays the
rent which only has a small percentage towards the broadcasting.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy'>If we want to nit pick …….. I could for
arguments sake work out our rent for the year and then look at the square feet
measurement for the offices and activities area compared to the actual

Okay, we're an internet only station, but we only pay 250-odd to PPL, and they
have been really nice to me: I told them I haven't any money but will pay when
I can, and they said I can pay in installments, etc. <br>

I don't agree that we should be paying anything in the first place, because we
are effectively publicising their artists, so I'm only paying to stop them
sending the heavies round. <br>
I haven't heard from PRS for a while, I'm hoping they have forgotten about me,
because I'm actually paying these bills out of my own pocket, hoping (dreaming)
that the station will be able to pay me back some day...<br>
