into commercial radio ……… in fact we’ve trained at least 4 people recently who

the first time ……………….. however, I was brought up by my parents and
grandparents to be well mannered and believe it or not ‘polite’ ………………… these
idiots have no manners, they just poach ! I don’t mind them ringing
me up and saying ‘’Would you mind awfully if we spoke to Fred
Bloggs, he’s very good and I think he could work with us’’ I
would say …. Yep …. No prob’s ……………….. I know of at least a dozen cases where
the heavy mob have gone in and dragged a volunteer away without even a blink of
an eye, and yet when you meet them at events or on the street, they’re all
smiley smiley ………………… it’s pathetic.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

sustainability whilst maintaining social gain is a massive difficulty. Add to
the mix poor transmission power and lack of access to concrete listening
figures to publish... It doesnt take a rocket scientist to see how hard it is
to make community radio stations work. Indeed the only reason the sector is
surviving at all is due to the passion that you and everybody else applies to
