Station House Media Unit, at the forefront of Community Media
development in the UK, is a volunteer led charitable company operating
across the regeneration areas of Aberdeen, Scotland.<br>

We are looking for 4 exceptional, innovative, community minded
individuals to join our team in the following positions:<br>
<br>
<b>shmuDESIGN Manager</b> – full-time post <br>
Salary: £26,728 to £29,698<br>
You will manage and implement the graphic and web design needs of the
organisation; support and deliver the key design phases of all
community magazines; and work alongside the Project Director and Senior
Management Team in order to develop and implement the income generating
strategy for the shmuDESIGN strand.<br>
<br>
<b>Reading Radio Development Worker</b> – full-time post <br>
Salary: £23,426 to £25,550<br>
You will work as part of the shmuFM Staff Team in partnership with The
Reading Bus to develop a radio broadcast and production programme
across 14 schools in Aberdeen.<br>
You will be a highly motivated individual, with substantial experience
of working with young people in a radio environment.<br>
Post funded by BBC Children in Need for 3 years<br>
<br>
<b>shmuFM Radio Support Worker</b> – 20hrs per week <br>
Salary: £20,694 to £22,706 pro-rata<br>
You will work as part of the shmuFM Staff Team to support all aspects
of radio training, broadcasting and production for the shmuFM community
radio station; and to support and encourage the use of radio as a
medium to positively re-engage learners from a variety of different
backgrounds.<br>
Post funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund until
October 2012<br>
<br>
<b>shmuTRAIN Employability Support Worker</b> – full-time post <br>
Salary: £20,694 to £22,706<br>
You will promote, encourage and support new and existing volunteers to
participate in the shmuWORKS programme, focusing on employability
skills through the use of community & digital media. The
post-holder will also act as the key operational link to the Aberdeen
Works Employability Pipeline Consortium.<br>
