You need to check the broadcast codes and what is required.  Its says, roughly,

and Central Office Of Information.  Before anyone tells me that the BBC is
skint its worth noting that they spent £46,000 on tickets to attend the Sony&#8217;s
and put in over 500 applications at £50,000 .... That excludes the staff time
preparing those applications and the contractors that they paid to prepare
them. Oh, and it doesn&#8217;t include the hospitality or accommodation costs
either.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

  definiately newsworthy and will give the issue the press it deserves.<o:p></o:p></p>

  with the single owner rule - and we'll be left with automated syndicated pop
  pap stations where once we had a voice.&nbsp; I'm not saying that all the
  regulation is right but left with no checks and balances we can kiss good-bye
  to the distinctive sector that we're so proud of.&nbsp; Not being alarmist

    Why should FM belong to businesses? Whose gain is it, behind the govt's

    This aside, it's ridiculous that you have to fight for community radio's
    survival on FM. The only way they can get away with it, is if the
    population is largely unaware until it's too late. In which case I would
    suggest a huge, co-ordinated press stunt up and down the country by us all.<br>

    Making the case for an increase in the Community Radio Fund, through<br>
    (smallish) contributions from other government departments), on the<br>
    basis that every £1 spent on community radio saves the government at<br>
    least £2 from other spending sources<br>
    <br>
    Making the case for the facilitation of community television on Freeview<br>
    <br>
    Arguing that the best use of any underspend on the Digital Switchover<br>
    Help Scheme ( which is NOT topslicing the BBC as it does not fund any<br>
    of the BBC's programme making or other direct activities) would be to<br>
    commit a major part of that to the development of community media in<br>
    the UK<br>
    <br>
    Reminding the new government that it is a signatory to both the<br>
    European Parliament and the Council of Europe resolutions urging<br>
    governments to recognise the role of community media in civil society<br>
    - through direct and indirect funding and support<br>
    <br>
    Arguing to ensure that the growth of community media (radio, TV and<br>
    internet based projects) is recognised, valued and funded in<br>
    appropriate ways, through appropriate funding and spectrum allocation<br>
    policies (including power transmission issues for those of you<br>
    fighting pirate radio)<br>
