<DIV class=im>Can we put it forward that there shouldn't be digital switchover at all for radio.<BR>Why should FM belong to businesses? Whose gain is it, behind the govt's move, and how can it possibly be in people's interests?<BR><BR>If businesses buy up the airwaves and use it for data transmission, what effect will it have in the country? Will there be a lot more data flying through the air, stronger signals, more receivers...what?<BR><BR>This aside, it's ridiculous that you have to fight for community radio's survival on FM. The only way they can get away with it, is if the population is largely unaware until it's too late.
