<div>We presented political shows for the run up to the European Elections, the two main parties Labour and Conservatives accepted our invite and presented their party in a debate show. The third party was invited The Liberal Democrats they first said yes and then declined in the 11th hour and we were found to be in Breach by Ofcom.</div>

<div>I have heard that there are new rules which allow station's to present shows for the Elections even if one main party is absent, but they all must be invited. Please do not my word and contact Ofcom for more information or clarification or why not attend the workshop on the 3rd of March at Ofcom office. <br>

What are the particular problems you are having?<br><br>If you are exposing the politicians to callers, you might find they are 'too busy' to come on the show. A way around this is to give them emails from listeners in advance which they can choose to answer on air, thereby circumventing any embarrassing confrontations.<br>
