<DIV>I have had a very interesting chat with the Lottery funding organisation
Awards For All - and they are absolutely screaming for funding applications this
quarter. They have a substantial amount of money in the kitty and if it isn't
awarded this quarter - its lost and could affect next years allocation. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>They are so keen to get this money out to groups such as ours that they
have even simplified the application process! </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>So if you havent had an Awards For All grant before - this is a fantastic
opportunity for funding of up to £10,000.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>If you have had Awards for all before, you can still apply - providing that
you haven't had £10k within the past 2 years. Although, if you have had £6k
from them in the past 2 years... you can go back and get £4k. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>One word of warning though - they don't usually like to fund a salary for
an existing activity - They prefer to fund projects that are creating a new
thing, ie a new studio for community use, or a mobile training unit to take
to community centres, new training PCs for volunteers etc. Give them a call and
have a chat as they are brilliant people. </DIV>
