I wonder if anyone can offer any advice on counting the
listenership of a poor old community radio station. I’ve read a
number of the ideas on the “community radio tool kit” site and they
are very helpful indeed. However, I wondered if anyone had a quick and dirty “rule
of thumb” or ratio related to website hits or email contact number which
might give a rough idea of the number of listeners out there.. I’ve got
the population numbers under our footprint but without going out and knocking
on doors (or stopping people in the street – which I know we will have to
do at some stage..) it’s tough to quantify.. Any ideas (or ratios)
welcomed.
