There is also a substantial body of supportive opinion on community/local television on the Ofcom website, submitted at the PSB Review last year and several EDMs, Hansard and other documents. Of course there is also Ofcom's Digital Local among others. </div><div><br></div><div>Personally, although all of this is very welcome as 'evidence', what is more meaningful for ourselves in Northern Visions is that the community media sector and the local groups we work with believe we have a social impact.... hence my email for a more inclusive policy. </div><div><br></div><div>I think it does no harm to talk of the community media sector rather than compartmentalising various distribution outlets, some of us have/and are/or may wish to extend our community media activities to radio to television to broadband and any other communication platforms available.
