<DIV>Dear CMA</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Recently myself and a band of merry men stepped out of the studio to report on how the live music scene is being affected by the recession around the UK. We met a fine Irish New Yorker `Dan Donnelly` in St Helen's who now resides in the UK, Dan informs Red Carpet Radio that he has seen a dramatic fall in numbers at live venues around the UK, including the Festival scene with the Glastonbury festival seeing a 20,000 reduction on festival goers from last year. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Dan Donnelly is currently on Tour with his back garden credit crunch gigs with many bookings taken over the Facebook network.</DIV>
<DIV>`<EM>This a way to keep going when the venues are not filling up anymore for the fact that everybody is staying at home these days because they cant afford to go out during the week, you become close friends with so many people, its like you are part of the family having a private gig in back gardens around the UK`</EM></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>We also travelled to Escot park in Devon for the Beautiful Days Festival. This sweet festival is into its 7th year founded by chart toppers the Levellers. Bass player Jeremey Cunningham tells Red Carpet Radio how the Festival had not been hit by credit crunch and breifly explains how unfortunate it is that other bands have been affected. <EM>`The recession has not really affected us because we actually started out as The Levellers during the early nineties recession and things have progressed since thanks to our hard core fanbase following`.</EM> says Levellers bassist, Jeremey Cunningham</DIV>
