Sheffield Live! 93.2FM to broadcast from the Fourth Plinth<BR>
<BR>
On 21st July at 8pm, Alan Fransman will broadcast a live radio show from<BR>
the Fourth Plinth on Trafalgar Square, for his local Community Radio<BR>
station, Sheffield Live! 93.2FM. Fransman and the broadcast will become<BR>
part of ‘One & Other’, sculptor Antony Gormley’s project to create an<BR>
astonishing living monument. The show will be heard by people on<BR>
Trafalgar Square, across Sheffield on 93.2FM and around the world on<BR>

“Gormley’s project is people’s art and community radio is people’s<BR>
media,” said Fransman. “My time on the plinth will be a demonstration of<BR>
the creativity, initiative and resourcefulness that exists in the<BR>
community media sector. It will also be a celebration of Sheffield and<BR>
the exciting cultural product we create at Sheffield Live!”<BR>
<BR>
The broadcast will bring news from Sheffield and break new music from<BR>
Sheffield’s vibrant music scene. Fransman will also play exclusive<BR>
tracks, not heard before on any other radio station. Listeners in<BR>
Trafalgar Square, Sheffield and around the world will have an<BR>
opportunity to interact with Alan by text and he will share them with<BR>
the audience.<BR>

astonishing living monument. He is asking the people of the UK to<BR>
occupy the empty Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square in London, a space<BR>
normally reserved for statues of Kings and Generals. They will become an<BR>
image of themselves, and a representation of the whole of humanity.<BR>
Every hour, 24 hours a day, for 100 days without a break, a different<BR>
person will make the Plinth their own. If you're selected, you can use<BR>
your time on the plinth as you like. One & Other is open to anyone and<BR>
