The Community Media Association (CMA) is soliciting views on the
Government's proposals for a licensing regime for small-scale DAB (SSDAB)
radio multiplexes.

The Government's aim is create a lighter touch regulatory regime that is
more suitable for small-scale radio multiplexes. Therefore the Department
for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) now wants to take views from
commercial radio and community radio on the best approach for licensing
SSDAB radio multiplexes.

The CMA welcomes comments from individuals and organisations involved in
the commercial and community radio sectors, including members of the public
who hold an interest in commercial and/or community radio.

The CMA's position on SSDAB will be informed by the responses that we
receive to this survey.

It is recommended that you refer to the DCMS Small Scale DAB Licensing
Consultation document which may be downloaded from here:
http://bit.ly/2E4lsfG. Questions 7 and 8, in particular, require you to
read the relevant section in the consultation brief. Compulsory fields are
marked with an asterisk.
