Dear all



There are just 2 months to go until the first digital radio event of the
year which takes place in Edinburgh on Thursday 15 March. The event will be
held in a central Edinburgh venue between 6pm and 8pm and will be an
opportunity to hear directly from the major broadcasters in Scotland.



There will be a free welcome drink for attendees and an opportunity to win
a digital radio.



The event will be hosted by *Stuart Barrie*, Chair of Radio Academy
Scotland, and the first speakers confirmed are *Graham Bryce*, Group
Managing Director of Bauer City Network,  who will provide an update on
Bauer’s digital progress in Scotland and across the UK; and  *Richard Bogie*,
Managing Director of The Scottish Sun, who will update on the three
newly-launched Scottish Sun digital stations - Scottish Sun Hits, Scottish
Sun 80s and Scottish Sun Greatest Hits.



Additionally, attendees will hear from radio historian *David Lloyd,* who
will look back on Edinburgh radio history in his inimitable style, and
Digital Radio UK CEO, *Ford Ennals,* will give a digital radio overview and
look at the growth of DAB and the future of radio in a smart,
voice-controlled world.



There will be other high-profile speaker announcements to follow.



The event will be held in a central Edinburgh location (to be confirmed)
and attendees are invited to arrive at 6pm with the session starting at
6.30pm.
