There is just one month to go until the free radio event *Doing the DAB* in
Cardiff on 5th October at 6pm until 8.30pm at The Chapel. The event
features leading radio names from South Wales discussing the future of
radio in the area and the role of digital radio. The event is for anyone
working in radio or with an interest in radio, and follows on from popular
events in Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham.



*Doing the DAB* will be hosted by *Neil Sloan*, Radio Academy Wales Chair
and Group Head of Programming and News at Communicorp UK. You will hear
from *Matt Lissack* – Presenter at Capital South Wales; *David Lloyd* –
Radio Historian; *Colin Paterson *– Editor at BBC Radio Wales; *Betsan
Powys* – Editor at BBC Radio Cymru; and *Jason Bryant* – Executive Chairman
at Nation Broadcasting . Additionally, Digital Radio UK’s CEO *Ford
Ennals *will
provide an overview on digital radio progress.
