Next week Radio Academy is staging Segue <http://www.segueleeds.com> in the
build-up to the ARIAS <https://www.radioacademy.org/pages/arias-2017/> on
Thursday night.

Segue is a new event, that’s free to attend, to provide radio practitioners
and aspiring radio talent in the region, across all disciplines eg
commercial, programming, creative, journalism etc the opportunity to hear
from some of the UK’s highest calibre speakers.

These sessions are the sort of thing you’d expect to see at Radio Festival
in London which can be cost prohibitive for many and therefore Radio
Academy has tried to bring a bit of Festival-type content to Leeds for FREE.

Check out the website <http://segueleeds.com/> for details on the various
sessions across the 2 days.

Some highlights:

   - Scott Mills ‘in Conversation' with David Lloyd
   - Helen Boaden, Siobhan Kenny, Phil Riley and Neelay Patel discussing
the radio and audio business, its challenges and opportunities.
   - James Whale talking about Speech Radio

Plus sessions on Social Media, Radio Creativity, Music Programming, Getting
Ahead in your Career, Getting into Radio and much more.
