>From time to time I update my own version of Ofcom's published TXParams spreadsheet recording the history and developments in Community Radio - which I'm happy to share - corrections/additions always welcomed.

Here are some interesting stats:
Number of licences awarded = 315
Applications awaiting a result = 36
Stations currently on air = 250
Closed for various reasons = 30
FM to AM = 244 to 6
Licensed FM power greater than 25 + 25 = 39
Using balanced mixed polarity = 66
Using unbalanced mixed polarity = 10
Using vertical polarity only = 174

- and our achievement:
Major involvement in a station = 93
Mixed polarity installations = 34
