In my haste -and also because I didn't get the formal announcement until well after 1pm, I didn't get as far as the bottom of the page:

In addition to the licence awards detailed above, Ofcom considered 16 further applications, but decided not to award a licence to the following groups:

  * AIMS FM, Aims Media Ltd (Borough of Hounslow)
  * Danaq FM, Henna Media Ltd, (Gants Hill/Ilford& Redbridge, Boroughs of Newham & Waltham Forest)
  * Flames Radio, Flames Media & Entertainment Limited, (Boroughs of Hackney, Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets & Newham)
  * Fusion, Mediatechnique Entertainment Limited (London, including Edmonton, Woolwich, Streatham and Ealing)
  * GreekBeat Radio, GreekBeat Radio Limited, (N London: Southgate & surrounding areas of Palmers Green, Oakwood, Cockfosters, Bounds Green & Wood Green)
  * Hot Digital Online, Hotdigitalonline Limited (Borough of Newham)
  * House FM, House Music Radio Limited, (Boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets & Waltham Forest)
  * Krystal FM, Krystal Radio, (Brixton, Clapham, Tulse Hill, Streatham & surrounding areas of the Borough of Lambeth)
  * Metropol Radio, Mydanoz Media Group Ltd, (Boroughs of Hackney, Haringey & Enfield)
  * Mi-Soul FM, Mi-Soul Foundation, (Boroughs of Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth & Greenwich)
  * New Generation Radio, New Generation Radio Limited, (Borough of Newham)
  * Radio Harrow, Radio Harrow, (Borough of Harrow)
  * Rainbow Radio, Rainbowbroadcasting Ltd, (Boroughs of Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham, west Greenwich & part of Wandsworth)
  * Starpoint FM, Starpoint Radio Ltd, (Boroughs of Tower Hamlets & Newham)
  * Wandsworth Radio, Wandsworth Radio Community Interest Company, (Borough of Wandsworth)
  * Zone One Radio, Love London Radio Limited, (Central London)

Is that enough?
Are we entitled to know the reasons?

With over 40 channels currently being occupied by illegal broadcasters, "lack of suitable frequency" cannot be one of them - surely?

You tell me?

Sadly Ian, they've already kicked out 16 of the remaining ones. "Lack of suitable frequency" no doubt!

Thank you Ofcom - at last!

Sincere congratulations to these four enterprising organisations.

We're proud to be already associated with three of them.
