The Thomas Wall Trust makes grants of up to £1,000 for smaller charities
with an income below £100,000.

Priorities are those meeting the social and/or educational needs of their
communities.

The Thomas Wall Trust also makes grants for individuals:

We can provide small grants to assist people with the cost of training
> courses that improve their chances of employment.  We offer assistance to
> help people overcome barriers to work and study, the barriers must be more
> than just the financial implication of studying. Grants do not usually
> exceed £1,000 and may be offered towards fees, equipment or any other
> relevant study costs.
