We believe in the old adage, KISS, keep it simple stupid 😊

For our OBs we use a Yamaha AG06 mixer, powered from a laptop with Play IT! and Butt, plus two mics, headphones and . . . err . . . that's it really. All fits in a single flight case.

The mics will depend on what we are doing. A couple of SM58s are fine for most events, where for sport commentaries we use Coles 4101 lip mics.

We do dozens of OBs from a variety of locations and it's always reliable, using 3G. often more solid than hooking on to someone's wi fi.
We use Audi tx at each end, but you could use shoutcast, which works brilliantly with just a laptop and a small mixer.
