[cma-l] Radio Festival 23rd May 2017

We'd love to do more meetings & gatherings but for us it's not the entry fee but travel & accommodation costs...

Assuming that it all works and arrives on time, I could get a 6pm train on the Monday to get the Sleeper down to London. Getting the Sleeper back up would get me back to Keith at 9am - that's if I get the 9pm out of Euston. If I go for the later Sleeper, to allow time for networking etc., I'd get back at 1pm.

If you go by Sleeper on your own and don't want to share with a total stranger, £500.00 for those dates.

Daytime trains can get you some cheaper tickets, but would take out all of Mon & Wed & need hotels...... (too old for the park bench...)

Although it wasn't aimed specifically at CRs, we went to the Glasgow "Doing the DAB" and it was very worthwhile. Met new people, swapped stories, learnt things.....

Having left home at noon, we grabbed a quick meal afterwards before driving into the night - I got home just before 4am.....

We'd love to do more meetings & gatherings......... :-)

Eddie
