No Rhys you haven’t got your sums wrong – I’ve been making a weekly health report for 21 years. When I started making my reports they were broadcast by a number of what were then independent commercial radio stations.

1000 broadcasts and it goes out weekly - have I got my sums wrong or does that mean you've been going for around 20 years - i.e. before community radio existed in the UK. Where were they broadcast originally?

Next week we pass a milestone here at Word On Health as we celebrate the 1000th broadcast of our weekly short form editorial report of the same name.

It has and continues to be an honour to be a part of Community Radio since its inception.

A huge thank you to everyone who has aired our weekly series over the years.

Kind regards,
