*2 weeks left to submit a nomination in the Community Radio Awards 2016.*

Just a little nudge and reminder that the deadline for entering the
Community Radio Awards 2016 is 2 weeks time (the 9th of June).

The submission site can he found here:
https://www.judgify.me/communityradioawards

Details of the categories and the submission requirements can be found
here: http://communityradioawards.co.uk/award-categories/
*How does it work?*

Submissions are open now until the 9th of June. You can head to the
submission site and follow the instructions to submit your entries either
as a station or as an individual from a station.

The submissions are £5 per entry and we are offering each station free
entry into the Station of the year category. Payment can be made by paypal
or cheque (or bank transfer but select cheque). If you need an invoice or
any assistance please email info at communityradioawards.co.uk
<https://mail.google.com/mail/?view=cm&fs=1&tf=1&to=info@communityradioawards.co.uk>

*Who should enter?*

The awards have been designed so that stations and individuals from
stations can submit as many entries into any of the categories as they
like. We are do not want to limit stations as to how many submissions they
can make, and we are happy for stations to administer it how they wish.
Some stations may send out the information to their presenters & volunteers
or some may decide to centrally organise and submit entries in one go. We
want everyone who is involved in community radio to feel in a position to
enter, and we hope that there is a category for everyone with our awards.

The only exceptions to the process would be;

Station of the Year – Only one entry per station, ideally from the station
management themselves

Volunteer of the Year – To be submitted by anyone to nominate someone else

Young Person of the Year – To be submitted by anyone to nominate a young
person

What Next?

Entries will be checked and sorted in June when the judging process starts,
the entries will be judged by our judging panels. A shortlist for each
category will be produced and published prior to the ceremony.

The Gold, Silver and Bronze for each categories will be announced at the
ceremony that is being held on 10th September at Birmingham City University.

Good luck to all those that enter and we look forward to hearing your
submissions.
