We are advertising two part time jobs at our friendly, creative radio
station in South Devon, thanks to recent funding success.

 Administrator and Bookkeeper

Description:

Soundart Radio is the licensed community radio station broadcasting to the
Totnes area of South Devon, supporting and training people to produce
innovative and creative radio programmes.

We’re looking for a highly organised person with experience of bookkeeping
and administration, who has a good understanding of non-profit community
organisations, and contemporary arts.

The appointee will provide board and staff with accurate accounts, keep
minutes, manage payroll, invoicing and receipts, assist with other tasks to
support staff in delivery of their work, and help to fulfil reporting
commitments to Ofcom and Companies House.

This is initially a one year post, which we expect to continue pending
income.

Hours: 8 hours a week, at regular times, to be arranged, with occasional
evening meetings

Salary: £20,000 FTE

Deadline: 5pm Wednesday 4th March

 Learning and Development Manager

Description:

Soundart Radio is the licensed community radio station broadcasting to the
Totnes area of South Devon, supporting and training people to produce
innovative and creative radio programmes.

We are at a time of growth and change, and need a dedicated person to write
funding bids, support development of accredited training, and work with a
wide range of partner organisations to secure new sources of income,
helping us to reach targets agreed by the board of directors.

This is initially a one year post, supported by the Ofcom community radio
fund. We expect the role to continue, pending income.

Essential qualities:

Arts degree or equivalent

Experience of working in the education sector

Understanding of community media and digital creative practice

Previous fundraising experience

Understanding of the needs of rural communities in Devon

Ability to work flexibly as part of a team that includes vulnerable
volunteers

A passion for radio

Hours: 16 hours a week, on regular days to be arranged, with occasional
evening meetings

Salary: £20,000 FTE

Deadline: 5pm, Wednesday 4th March
