[cma-l] Ofcom awards two new community radio licences in Sheffield

[CMA-L]

Ofcom has announced the award of two new community radio licences in
Sheffield.

Licences have been awarded to Unity FM, for a service in Sheffield and to
IMAN FM, for a service covering parts of Sheffield and Rotherham.

Ofcom has awarded the licences to:

*Unity FM (The Pakistan Muslim Centre (Sheffield) Limited)*
Website: http://www.pmcuk.org

Unity FM will provide a community radio service for Pakistani and Muslim
communities within the broadcast area in Sheffield.

*IMAN FM (IMAN Media UK Limited)*
Website: http://www.imanonline.org

IMAN FM will provide a community radio service for the diverse Muslim
communities in parts of Sheffield and Rotherham.

The licences are awarded for a five-year period.
