[cma-l] Ofcom concludes its review of the list of major parties for the May 2014 elections

Ofcom has confirmed the composition of the list of major parties for the
elections to be held on 22 May 2014. This follows a consultation in October
2013.

Ofcom has taken the decision that the United Kingdom Independence Party
(UKIP) should be added to the list of major parties for England and Wales
(not Scotland) for the purposes of the 2014 European Parliament elections
only.
