Funding to Support Film Making by Young People (UK)
Into Film, a new charity that supports film making by young people, has
announced that its Outreach Grants programme is open for applications.
The grant programme offers funding for organisations to work involve a
minimum of 20 young people aged 14-19 who are not in mainstream
education in a project that combine watching, making and understanding
of film. Organisations can apply for a grant of up to £10,000 to create
two short films as part of the project. These should also include,
extensive film watching and understanding activity such as staging mini
festivals, screenings and masterclasses. Applicants will be required to
set up a Film Club at the beginning of their project which will help to
source film content and resources to support the watching and learning
elements of the project.
The total number of grant applications that will be accepted for this
round of funding is 70. Once we have received 70 applications the round
will close automatically and no further applications will be accepted.
If the cap of 70 applications is not met then the round will close at
2pm on 7 May 2014.

The Peter Cruddas Foundation Grants Programme (UK)
The Peter Cruddas Foundation is a grant making Foundation that aims to
support charitable works that benefit disadvantaged and disengaged young
people in the UK by ensuring that their funding reaches those most in need.
Priorities for funding are:
•Pathways/support for young disadvantaged or disengaged people in the
age range 14 to 30 into education, training or employment
•Work experience/skills projects for young people aged 16 to 30
•Youth work in London particularly evening work for disadvantaged young
people aged 16 to 30.
To be eligible for funding an organisation must be a registered charity
or an organisation / individual supported by a UK charity. There are no
minimum or maximum grants and projects can be funded for more than one
year.
The next deadline for applications is the 1st September 2014.
