The Tinder Foundation has reached the second stage of the Big Lottery
Fund's Basic Online Skills programme, together with partners Abilitynet,
Digital Outreach Ltd, SCVO, Supporting Communities Northern Ireland and
NIACE Dysgu Cymru.

The proposed three-year programme - Digital Mission - will support people
to gain basic skills through local awareness and engagement campaigns, new
digital clubs training people in communities, and establishing volunteer
networks to help people to gain digital skills in their own home.

Tinder Foundation is looking for Community Hubs across all four UK nations
(England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) with a track record of
supporting the hardest to reach. Successful Community Hubs will receive
funding for the three years of the Digital Mission project, due to run from
1 October 2014 to 30 September 2017.

They are now preparing for round 2, and they need centres and local
partners to join in the bid as Community Hubs. Community Hubs will need to
be ready to deliver digital skills training through outreach if our bid is
successful.

Community Hubs will need to deliver training in either the 10% most
deprived areas of the UK or rural areas, and support people from at least
one of the following groups:

   - older people (aged 65+)
   - disabled people
   - people on low incomes and with low qualifications

Apply now to join as a Community Hub in the Big Lottery bid. *Applications
close 5pm, Friday 25 April*.

Successful applicants will be informed by Friday 30 May, with a decision
expected from Big Lottery Fund by 31 July as to whether the bid has been
successful.
