TV, radio and digital freelancers can book tickets for Fast Train
Scotland- a free training day taking place on Thursday
24 October 2013 at the BBC headquarters in Pacific Quay, Glasgow.
     Fast Train Scotland, co-produced by the BBC Academy and Creative
Skillset, will bring the best and brightest from the broadcasting
industries together to offer a range of practical workshops, seminars and
networking opportunities.

Speakers on the day include author and broadcaster Muriel Gray, BBC
Scotland director Ken MacQuarrie, and BAFTA-nominated TV and film
director Douglas
Mackinnon.

The day is *free to attend* but booking is essential. The first of three
batches of tickets are available today and more tickets will be released on
*12 and 16 October* - make sure you apply quickly as this is a popular
event!
