The Nominet Trust has launched a £250k Challenge to support projects
which focus on older people aged 65+ and the internet. Its priorities
are:

- Using the internet to address specific social problems facing older people
- Designing new and better ways for older people to access and use the internet
- Developing and using technologies familiar to older people that may
have internet functionality such as projects that use IPTV or internet
radio.

Applications from £1,000-£250,000 will be considered.

Your project must meet the Nominet Trust’s general funding criteria
and respond to the recommendations in ‘The internet and an ageing
population’ State of Art review (see the Nominet Trust website for
more information on these).

Deadline: 1 February 2011 for first stage applications
