Gateway 97.8 a community radio station in Basildon which provides a
variety of training for people of all ages, the voluntary project is
delighted to announce that HRH Duke of Gloucester will visit the
station in May to see for himself the stations work, Since launching
its new Gateway training academy the centre offers qualifications in
Broadcasting and uses these as a tool to motivate people and improve
skills.

During the visit HRH will meet Essex arts award winners and Diana
award holders, he will also present Diana certificates, He has also
agreed to go live on air!

The station recently won the High sheriff award in Essex.  Station
Chairman Yvonne Williams  Directors Ros Connors and Danny Lawrence are
delighted with the visit
