Dear All

Quite fascinating and intriging that Ofcom / DCMS ?? whoever, conducts a
'draw' on these matters to ( I ASSUME ) ensure that proceedures and
processes are done fairly and squarely and that everyone is treated equally
(so say all of us)
And yet the authorities continue to precide over a community radio bill that
is done absolutely unfairly and treats people differently .... in fact,
actually sometimes goes one better than that and treats some with contempt !

The mind boggles >???

The geese, goose and the ganders are waddling onto the lawn again.

Regards

Nick .............. there you go ..... short and sweet and to the point !

Ofcom has conducted a series of draws to decide which groups will be
awarded temporary radio licences called Restricted Service Licences
(RSLs) for broadcasting in various locations around the UK in August
this year. This is a period of high demand for these licences, and
most of the applications in the draw were for services that will
broadcast for Ramadan and Eid.  In addition Ofcom drew between
applicants for some other periods of the year for which competing
applications were received.

A list of the successful applicants for each area is available here:
