Community media organisations and arts organisations from the South West
region of England are invited to the Community Media Association Road
Show on Wednesday 6th April 2011

*community media platform, producer, and partner for the arts*

The Community Media Association has been working with the The Arts
Council England and Voluntary Arts Network to look at ways to support
existing quality arts programming and collaboration with the community
media sector and develop new opportunities.

The road show on 6th April in Exeter, looks at how the arts and
community media are working together, and how arts organisations can
work with community media as a platform, a partner and a producer.

This event was recently in Newcastle and colleagues from the North East
told us:

*"A really inspiring day with innovative approaches and ideas shared
across speakers and delegates from the worlds of media and creativity. I
was thrilled to be part of the day and contribute to these discussions.
However, the highlight for me personally was the presentation from Two
Valleys Radio, which really epitomised the flexibility and expected and
unexpected benefits of bringing together local creativity with local
broadcast"*

The event is free but places are strictly limited to book a place go to
