[cma-l] DAB Broadcasting

Could a local MUX be persuaded to have a community channel made available to community radio groups and the various community radio stations around that Mux, each providing programmes to the community channel and paying the approptiate costs on a usage basis, as I doubt that many community groups could afford a channel to themselves

Kind Regards

I could be wrong but as far as i know there is no set cost (from a transmission point of view) and you have to speak to the local multiplex owner / negotiate with them.. From a license point of view its not that much at all i dont think..

Is there any information on the cost of broadcasting on the DAB
platform? Only thinking of the local one.

Thanks
