Hi Sandra

As others on this list have pointed out it is unlikely that a community
radio station, operating in the normal manner, would be subject to the
Copyright & Related Rights Regulations.

The website of the Copyright Licensing Agency states:

"If your organisation copies or distributes print or electronic extracts
from books, journals or magazines without direct permission from the
copyright owner then you are likely to be breaking the law".

And .goes on to say

"If you are unsure whether you actually need a CLA licence then we recommend
that you carry out our online risk assessment. It only takes two minutes to
complete, is completely confidential and will give you an immediate
assessment of whether you need a licence.

Click here to start the online risk assessment

http://www.cla.co.uk/do_i_need_a_licence/assessment

By completing the online assessment you can quickly assess whether you are
likely to require a licence.

Hope that helps and best regards

Bill
