Nick for once thats not a bad idea..
Your right to get lots of flyers done wouldnt work out that expensive.. and if
you had a webaddress like "yourlocalstation.com" or what ever with a map /
postcode thing and all the stations listed with details you could make a very
good generic flyer.. (printing is one of my sidelines lol)
Even if every station chipped in a little it could work out really well..

What we need are National Flyers ………. As in the lager …….. ‘’reaching the parts
that our Community Radio Airwaves can not reach’’
‘’ Have you tried your local community radio station yet’’ ‘’ Give
it a listen, you may have a pleasant surprise’’ on the
flyer there could be a bit of spiel about the CMA ………………….. no one will have
heard of this before so (80%) will give it a read anyway ………………… it plants
seeds.
Getting thousands done in bulk would not cost much pound for pound …………………. All
the stations nationwide could be listed as a fraternity.
Just a thought ……….. or a waste of money ?? dunno’ ?
you guys decide ………………. Unless I’ve missed the point again ?
Nick

I have a great fear that this is going to be a classic committee excercise.
Please remember that a camel is said to be a horse designed by a committee.
Is there any point in publicising Community Radio as a total entity - and only
to people who are already listening to Community Radio?
By the same token - is there any point in publicising the CMA to people who are
unlikely ever become its Clients?

Once we've decided on the content, we could then do a competition to make it,
with cash prizes!!!

Hello,
As has been discussed a few times on this forum and at the CMA AGM, we are
looking to make a jingle/promo for the CMA and the sector in general. This could
then be used on as many community stations or by as many members as would like
to use it on air or on websites etc. This would be to enhance the profile of the
CMA.
A couple of questions:
What would you like it to say?
Would you play it?
Would other languages be needed?
All comments and ideas please!
