Dear all

I am writing to remind you that you can sign up for free traffic news
(Highways Agency funded) at any time.  So far more than 50 stations
have signed up for the service.  The normal cost of the service is
around £1,000 per annum, so it is a good deal for the sector. Also
despite potential cuts to the Highways Agency, the provider GTN still
hopes to maintain this free service in to the future (current
agreement is for two years).

To be eligible you must:

- Hold a full time community radio licence (sorry, we are not allowed
at present to offer the service to RSl holders, internet radio
stations or community stations that are not yet on air)

- Be a paid up member of the Community Media Association

If you want to sign up for this free service please visit the CMA website on:

http://www.commedia.org.uk/2010/07/09/sign-up-for-traffliclink-news/

where you will find more information and the agreement form.  We will
need you to sign and post the form to us:

CMA,
15 Paternoster Row,
Sheffield, S1 2BX.

I look forward to hearing from those of you who have not signed up
yet.  If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me,

Best wishes

Jaqui

Director
Community Media Association
