Mickelmus Wrighticus,
You are quite mad, but very interesting! Like you we do miss the 3-minute
bulletins.
For the pot: like Simon, we prefer the IRN style. The service is good value
albeit it a huge rise percentage-wise in one hike.

Well said Jaqui ……………………. I didn’;t want to post anything about it just in case
some people thought ‘’here we go again, that whinging bugger in East Cheshire ’’
The price rise is ridiculous ……………… I wouldn’t mind, but the service has gone
down from 3 minutes to 2 which I personally think is a shame (I did let them
know by the way at the time) furthermore, some of the main stories in the
World / National news don’t get included or if they do, it’s basically
lipservice.
They’re not bad ………… but they ain’t good either …………. Sorry guys if you are
reading this. I think the presenters/newscasters are excellent though and come
across very well.
Anyway, definitely worth a meeting as the £360 (or whatever we paid ??) is a
touch to much me thinks …… I forget what we are paying these days as we have
that many bills coming through the door !
That’s the latest
Boing !
I’m Mickelmus Wrighticus for Sky News

Dear all
We are aware that IRN has hiked its charges for news and are trying to get a
meeting with them to discuss this.
We are also working with the BBC to try to extend access to their news services
for the community radio sector, so we do urge you to at least approach your
local BBC with a view to exploring the possibility of getting a free news feed
from them, as some stations already have.
Let us know how you get on as we will follow this up at the national strategic
level,
Best wishes
Jaqui
