Leadership 20:20 Commission

In 2008, NCVO brought together the Leadership 20:20 network, led by a
core group of emerging leaders, to discuss the issues surrounding
emerging leadership in civil society. Their discussions and
consultations led the group to propose the idea of the Commission, and
they worked together on its core themes over the course of 18 months.
In early 2010 nominations were sought for the 20 most inspiring
emerging leaders in civil society to make up the Commission.

In April 2010 a new body of commissioners met for the first time and
you can see their details below. They will be leading a national
discussion into the future leadership of civil society.

Consultation

The Leadership 20:20 Commission has recently conducted a consultation;
and from this, an online questionnaire has been launched in order to
identify barriers and opportunities faced by established leaders, and
to understand what support emerging leaders are looking for.  From the
findings, the Commission expects to draw up a number of
recommendations that will be used to shape the future of leadership
policy and practice within the sector.

It would be great if you could spare some of your time to complete the
