 Dear colleague,

*Digital platforms: Internet TV (IPTV) and apps – Monday 23 May 2011*

Thank you for registering your interest in the *Building digital capacity
for the arts *programme. We would like to inform you that the first of our
five seminars is now open for booking.

‘Digital platforms: internet protocol television (IPTV) and
apps<http://listmail.artsfb.org.uk/t/536626/443204/19665/0/>’
will explore two important platforms for the distribution of content for
cultural organisations. At the seminar, delegates will have the opportunity
to hear from practitioners and also explore models for the cultural sector.

Speakers will include: Mark Dobson and Andy Hudson, NewcastleGateshead
Cultural Venues; Chris Thorpe, ArtFinder; and also Colin Savage and Mark
Bamber, both BBC Academy trainers.

*Who is the seminar for?*

This seminar is suitable for people in relatively senior roles within an
arts organisation and artists. Delegates should be thinking about content
distribution beyond their own websites and already have solid experience of
producing or commissioning audio-visual content. Delegates should be
working across either digital, marketing, or audio visual content creation.
Artistic directors or lead curators may also find it useful.
