You will be probably be aware that many commercial and BBC radio services have their own customised "apps" for the iPhone/iPod Touch which display their logos and information about the station plus link into their Internet stream so anyone using them can listen in worldwide.

There are several apps which provide links to online radio stations. Most have a specific directory of stations while some allow you to enter a URL for other stations not listed.
I have asked several of the companies who have produced such apps to include our station with limited success but other CR stations have managed to get into the lists.

I was recently contacted by one such company with an offer of creating a custom app for our station. It was expensive (€750) - much too expensive for us to be interested. However they have come back asking how much we would be prepared to pay and I have seen an opportunity. If a number of stations were interested in this maybe we could propose development of customised apps for all of us at a much reduced price (I suspect the work of customising for each station is fairly small compared with the overall development effort). All such apps would then be available via the iTunes app store.

The particular app is Tunin.FM which has a free Lite version and a paid version at £2.39.

So who would be interested in this please?
