Dear all

The CMA has made a provisional agreement with the main provider of
traffic news in England (we are hoping that similar agreements will be
reached in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland shortly). The agreement
will be for two years from 1st April 2010.

The agreement would allow full time licensed community radio stations to
have access for free to Traffic Radio regional audio reports covering
the Highways Agency network of motorways and trunk roads. Stations
would also have free access to Trafficlink's Regis website which
displays more local information (equivalent to a local BBC area).

In order to take part in the scheme, you will need to be a member of the
CMA and to enter into an agreement with us as the main point of contact
for the project.

We hope you will agree this a good move forward in providing traffic
news on community radio. If you are interested in taking part, please
contact us as soon as possible. If you are not currently a member of
the CMA please do rejoin to take part in the scheme, membership is still
great value at £50 per annum. For those of you already paying for
Trafficlink's "Network Drive Light" package (cost £1000 per annum), you
will be able to take part in the free scheme after your next quarter end.

We look forward to hearing from you,

Best wishes

Jaqui
