Youth Support Systems - Support to youth workers’ mobility and
exchanges - EACEA call for proposals

There is a call for proposals under the European Union (EU) Youth in
Action programme. The call is to support experimental projects which
support the mobility and exchanges of youth workers.

The aim is to help youth workers gain new professional skills and
competences, such as inter-cultural skills, language skills and the
exchange of experiences and approaches which will help them better
adapt to the changing needs of young people. It will also contribute
to capacity-building and the development of structures through
partnerships across Europe and through strengthening the quality and
role of youth work within Europe.

As with many EU programmes, there is a transnational element. Projects
should be based on a partnership between two partners from two
different Programme Countries, with at least one being from an EU
Member State.

The deadline is 22 October 2010.

IdeasTap Groups Fund

The creative network IdeasTap is offering 12 awards of £2,500 to fund
collaborative, creative projects through its Groups Fund. The Fund is
open to proposals from all creative disciplines, including
productions, exhibitions, short films and workshops.

It is important that ideas include an IdeasTap group with at least 10
members, and involve the wider IdeasTap community, whether as
participants or as the audience. These can be existing IdeasTap groups
or new ones. You can create a new group by visiting the Groups website
here.

One group member will be the main applicant, and must be aged between
16 - 30. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that the project has
not been done before, and that it could not be realised without the
support of the Fund.

The deadline for the Fund is 7 July 2010. For more information, or to
download an application form, visit the IdeasTap website here:
