Congratulations to Barry and team at Warminster Community Radio for securing
substantial commitments from the Town Council and the Unitary Body for their
long overdue radio station project - licensing held back for some years by
the rules related to adjacent commercial broadcasters, a restriction which
has now rightly been removed.  They now only await Ofcom's invite to apply
for a licence.  I visited Barry some years ago and am aware of what a long
hard fight this has been!

Warminster is an interesting town for community action!  We were recently
commissioned to make a film about the Warminster and Villages Development
Trust - who successfully re-opened the town's information centre after it
had been shut down by the then district council.  See it at
