As one of the previously banned stations under the CRO, WCR Community Radio in Warminster are delighted to say that while we wait to be invited to apply for a full licence by Ofcom, we have received the full backing of the local council who have promised over £12k for each of five years of a licence to cover operational shortfall and the Unitary Body has granted over £26k+ to equip a remote transmitter site and refurbish all our studios. Providing Ofcom clear their backlog soon, we could be on air, finally, this time next year after 14 years of hard work!
