Hi Jacqui

Good to speak to you earlier.

As I mentioned, I'm going to be making some short films over the next few
months which will be shown on the BBC website and possibly to leadership
groups within the BBC to explain what 'media literacy' is, the importance
of it and the transformative effects of the web on individuals and larger
society.

I'm looking for some really powerful stories about the transformation into
Digital Britain. I'm looking for interesting, likeable characters, who have
an out-of-the ordinary story to tell about their discovery and relationship
with the internet. Their story will be moving on an individual level
but also we're hoping it will tell the bigger narrative about Britain as it
transitions into an online society.

I was hoping that you might be able to suggest some case studies to me that
might fit the above brief (or as close to it as possible!).

It would be useful for me to have their name, age, occupation (if any),
location, phone number and a brief synopsis of their story. I would then
ring them up and have a chat to them to find out a bit more about them and
see if it's a story I would be interested in filming and if they would be
willing to share their story on camera.

In terms of timeframes, I'm hoping the case studies will trickle in over the
next few weeks and I can start filming towards the end of August/beginning
of September.

Please do ask if you have any questions.

Many thanks in advance for your help,

Kind regards

Rakhee
