Thanks to all who replied. I've alreadyb had several offers of assistance -
one is from someone who's just 20 mins down the road from here, so
that looks like the easiest option.

Hi,

I'm on the scrounge...

We (Celtic Music Radio) are providing technical and operational
resources to support a RSL broadcast next month.

The Scottish International Piano Competition (SIPC) is well established
as one of the leading events in the international piano competition
calendar. For twelve days in September 2010, Glasgow - UNESCO City of Music -
will play host to some of the world's most gifted young pianists.

We will be broadcasting all of the stage 1 and stage 2 performances from
the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama.

We've got all of the "bits and pieces" needed to make this work,
but no RDS encoder. If anyone - ideally in Scotland - has one spare,
we'd appreciate the loan of it for a fortnight in September. Of
course, our budget is minimal :-)

It's a bit different from most RSLs, being based around classical music.

If anyone can help, please drop me a line.
