Crescent Community Radio is a local community organisation whose
objectives are to benefit the residents of Rochdale by developing
community projects with a particular emphasis on community radio.

Crescent Community Radio has recently been successful in securing
funding for a community radio project. Therefore we are looking to
recruit a Full-time Volunteer Development Coordinator
 - The main role of the post holder will be to promote volunteering
and involve volunteers in the planning and delivery of Crescent
Community Radio programmes.
 - The post holder will plan and deliver a four week media learning
programme for volunteers.
 - You should be committed to active participation; be creative,
flexible, enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated and a good team
player. You will have at least one year’s experience of working with
disadvantaged communities and people including in group settings. A
relevant qualification in media communication would be desirable.
Experience of working in a community radio setting, either as a
volunteer or paid worker, is essential.

The post holders will be based at Crescent Community Radio, Crescent
Community Centre, 1 Devon Street, Rochdale OL11 1HN.
