[cma-l] Big Lottery Funding

The Big Lottery Fund has announced that its Reaching Communities
programme is remaining open. The fund offers grants between £10,000
and £500,000.

Improvements have been made to the application process and there will
be a simpler process and quicker decision making for groups applying
for up to £40,000 per year. Later in 2010 there will also be a
dedicated capital stream available later in the year for community
buildings. More information will be available  shortly.

New application materials will be available online from 28 April 2010.
The final day for submissions using the existing outline proposal
forms will be 14 May 2010.

The People’s Millions competition is open. Shortlisted projects will
be put to the public vote on ITV for a week in November. Winners can
receive up to £50,000 to improve local facilities or help people in
your local area. It is expected five awards will be made in each ITV
region.

The deadline for applications is 14 May 2010.
